As the food ran out, the drive to survive forced the men of the Verbond to engage in a deeply taboo act. Cannibalism in the name of survival was the pact these cursed men made with themselves. Even after their eventual escape from the triangle, the men would steer their weathered vessel glady towards unsuspecting ships; all in the name of their next meal.
